Carbon Tint
Ceramic Tint
Ceramic tint is made using ceramic particles that are non-conductive and non-metallic.
Ceramic particles block a higher percentage of infrared (IR) and UV rays compared to carbon tint, providing superior heat rejection and protection from sun damage.
Unlike carbon tint, ceramic tint does not contain any metal layers, so it does not interfere with electronic devices such as GPS, cell phones, or radio signals.
Ceramic tint tends to have a clearer appearance and can maintain the vehicle's original visibility while still offering excellent heat and UV protection.
Carbon tint contains carbon particles that are mixed into the film during manufacturing.
The carbon particles absorb a significant amount of infrared (IR) light, which is responsible for heat, without blocking much visible light. This helps to keep the interior of the vehicle cooler.
Carbon tint also provides some level of UV protection, helping to reduce fading and damage to the vehicle's interior from sun exposure.
It typically has a matte finish and a dark appearance.
Tint Percentages
Window Tinting By Rosie has the following tint levels to choose from.
5%
15%
Slightly lighter than 5% tint, but offers similar benefits in terms of privacy and glare reduction but allows a bit more visibility from the inside. It's a popular choice for those who want significant tinting without sacrificing too much clarity, providing a balance between style and functionality.
No Tint
Often referred to as "limo tint," this level provides maximum privacy and UV protection. It significantly reduces visibility both from the outside and the inside, making it ideal for individuals seeking enhanced privacy or heat reduction.
With no tint, windows allow maximum visibility both from the inside and the outside. While it offers no privacy or UV protection, it provides unobstructed views and maintains natural color perception.
35%
Lighter than the previous options, 35% tint offers a subtle tinting effect that provides some privacy and glare reduction without significantly darkening the windows. It's a versatile choice suitable for those who want a tinting effect without sacrificing too much visibility or violating tinting regulations.
20%
With 20% tint, you'll get a noticeable tinting effect that enhances the appearance of your vehicle while still allowing decent interior visibility. It provides moderate privacy and glare reduction, making it a popular choice for those seeking a stylish look without sacrificing too much clarity or street legality.
